Going green means developing more of an energy-awareness. Let’s forget the moral reasons like pollution and consuming
foreign-oil and just focus on it from a business, financial, budget aspect. Switching to a Compact Fluorescent Lightbulb
will save roughly $30 during the life of that lightbulb. Now multiply that by how many lightbulbs are in your house and
you can see that’s a big chunk of change! A lot of people only think short-term when buying in the store. They see the
old-fashioned lightbulbs are half the price as the newer ones so they just pick up what seems to be a better bargain. Little
do they realize that their short-term gain is a long-term loss. The newage CFL’s will pay themselves off in just a couple
months! So next time you’re in the store remember that the reason those new lightbulbs are a dollar or two more is cause
they use anywhere from 50%-90% LESS electricity than the regular ones. Try to remember.. for your wallets sake.
